Rambler Rally has record turnout

Inflate it and they will come.  Wednesday, August 24, the 3rd annual Rambler Rally was held in the parking lot of the John Nett Recreation Center from 5:00-7:00. featuring activities, bouncy houses, and food served by Steak Shop catering.

Event organizer Anna Koopman thanked the WACS and Cotter communities for their participation and support.  “It was very well attended by Cotter and WACS students and families but it was also well attended by our staff and faculty,”  Koopman said.

 ” Well over 550 meals were served. And I think our parking lot was at capacity,” Koopman added.
“Our band played wonderfully, and so many representatives from Cotter activities and sports came out to share their time and info with others.  Many hands went into making this a successful event and I am grateful to all who contributed. “
Students of all ages seemed to enjoy the nice weather, the inexpensive meal, and the activities, including the jousting battle station.
“I really enjoyed the food, especially the hamburgers,” junior Miriam Ellis said.
“I like getting to see all theses athletes and Cotter families come together,” sophomore John Weltzien said.
