Will the Vikings Win the Super Bowl?

The Vikings came out with a boom this season going 5-0 before their bye week. The Vikings were then the only team  left undefeated and on top of the NFL.

They have since dropped three in a row, but still sit at the top of the NFC North with a 5-3 record.

The preseason for the Viking’s was okay. They lost starting quarterback during a practice. Teddy Bridwater dropped back to pass and tore his ACL. Shaun Hill took his place for the first game which the team won and the Viking’s then traded a first round draft pick for Sam Bradford who is now the starting quarter back.

The Vikings have one of the best defenses in the league and are ranked 5th in overall defense. After the end of week 9 the Vikings are 5-3.

The Vikings offensive coordinator, Norv Turner, quit and the offensive line continues to struggle..

The trade for Bradford was a great idea. Bradford is playing well and is passing very well but is getting blown up and hit hard because the offensive line just cant block at all. The Vikings strength is without a doubt their defense.

Moving forward the Vikings have to figure out how to get the line to provide more protection to create offense and kicker Blair Walsh needs to get over his cold streak to give the team a chance to move forward.  While it looks like the still have a great shot at the playoffs, until they get healthier and address these issues, the Lombardi trophy will remain an elusive goal.
