The football team crushed the Southland Rebels 59-18 on Friday, October 13, at WSU’s Altra Credit Union stadium. The win moved the Ramblers over .500 to 4-3 heading into their final regular season game.

A key player in Friday’s game was Austin Griffin. Griffin surpassed his 1,000 rushing yards for the season and, like his backfield partner Zach Schell, scored 3 touchdowns on the night.

” I  have the offensive line and the wings to thank. They blocked well for me” said Griffin a senior captain.

Schell, Austin Kerrigan, Jack Vaselaar, and Chris Edwards all pitched in with several touchdowns as well.

The Ramblers travel to take on Fillmore Central, Wednesday, October 19, at 7pm.
