Charging ahead: an interview with Dennis Aig

Charged: The Eduardo Garcia story chronicles the life-changing journey of chef and outdoors-man Garcia after he was shocked by 2400 volts of of electricity in a freak accident while hiking in the remote back country of Montana.

Eduardo lost his hand, ribs, muscle mass, and nearly his life, but more important than what he lost is what he found.

At every turn, new and unimaginable obstacles, both physical and emotional, arose for Eduardo and those who cared about him, but with enough humor, positivity and support, Eduardo was able to overcome and grow as a person.

A survival and love story unlike any other, Charged tells Eduardo’s remarkable journey from getting off the forest floor to becoming the man he is today.

Dennis Aig, executive producer of Charged, and a longtime film professor and professional, was in attendance at the showings of the film at the 2018 Frozen River Film Festival.

Joseph Costello of Cotter Teen Press spoke with Dennis Aig after a screening of Charged: The Eduardo Garcia Story  at Winona State University.
