On Friday, October 3, Cotter students and families went to Godfathers pizza for dinner and a chance to raise funds for the Cross Cultural Ministry Project

According to Mrs. Marisa Corcoran, who organized the event, about 100 people attended the event.  From 5 p.m. til 8 p.m. Godfathers gave a portion of all receipts to the CCMP group.

An estimated $217 were raised in the three hour period

According to Mrs. Corcoran, “the money will be given to the students who worked at Godfather that night and also, it will be given to students going on summer mission trip.”

CCMP continues its tradition of sending students on mission work around the United States in teams throughout the summer.

“One new trip will be to Jerusalem farm in Kansas, which place never been before,” Corcoran said.

Another nice feature of the Godfathers event was the increased presence of international students in the CCMP group, will 11 resident international students volunteering their time.
