Saturday’s night play was quite a show.

Jane Koll and Ryan Ortega delivered compelling performances that put the audience in a musical trance sending them back to the 1950’s.

However, those two were not the only stars of the night. Gina Pham who played Anita, Minjae Kim portrayed as Bernardo, and Ben Matzke who took on the role of Riff, brought energy and conviction to their supporting roles.

The Orchestra put on a wonderful performance who was directed by Mr. Andy Meurer. They were very clean and well organized and really tied the show together.

The set construction was simple and realistic from the chain link fence for the street scenes, the bridal shop shop door, and the second story window, which reminded the audience of the play’s Romeo & Juliet roots.

The audience’s reaction laughed and was enthusiastic throughout.  All three performances were well attended
