Senator Miller: “Believe in yourself, get involved, be with good people”

Minnesota state senator Jeremy Miller visited Cotter and sat down with  Alessia Velasquez-Nitti, Cecilia Galke, and Alisia Hull of Cotter Teen Press.

Senator Miller is the deputy majority leader in the Minnesota State senate and was first elected to the State senate in 2010.

Senator Miller works at Miller Scrap, a Winona family business for four generations, and he enjoys spending a lot of time with his wife, Janel, and three young sons, Drew, Luke and Tom.

Senator Miller is also active in promoting sports in Winona, through the Morrie Miller Athletic Foundation, which supports youth athletics in Winona, and at the university level at Winona State and St. Mary’s universities.
