Gabe Welch, a Cotter sophomore, was seen roaming the halls all dressed up on Monday, April 9th. After school, the subsection speech tournament was being held in Wabasha, and Welch was going to be participating in the “extemporaneous reading” category.

“I’m a little bit nervous,” Welch said, but overall he feels prepared and ready to go. Being dressed up certainly helps with that attitude.
