Story teller visits Cotter to kick off local festival

As part of the 2nd Annual Sandbar Storytelling Festival, master storyteller Bil Lepp spoke to Cotter students in grades 4-12 in three separate sessions on Thursday, October 12.

Lepp is an award winning storyteller, author, and recording artist who hails from West Virginia, where he has won the state’s “Biggest Liar Competition” five times. The high school students heard tall tales of egg babies, human hunting deer, and a skunk attack at summer camp.  The Festival runs october 12-14 and is held at St. Mary’s University on Friday and Saturday. ng
