Rambler Rally Makes A Splash

There was a sea of blue in the Cotter parking lot, but the only water-related event was the dunk tank.

This image describes the scene at the second annual Rambler Rally, held last Wednesday. Students, parents, and faculty greeted each other with welcoming arms and smiles from ear to ear.

“It was great to see the entire Cotter community out to support all of the different teams and things,” said senior football captain Alex Walechka.

Walechka wasn’t the only one with positive remarks on the event. Senior volleyball captain Beth Parlin agreed. “A lot of the children got a chance to meet the high school athletes.”

Participation was not an issue, either, as over 600 people turned out.

“It was very crowded,” said volleyball player Alexa Hecsh. “There were a lot of alumni there and my parents kept introducing me to some.”

Sophomore tennis player Kylie Modjeski added that “It was fun. [I] had a good time, but it got crowded.”

Which, of course, was part of the goal and what made this 2nd annual Rally a success.
