Avengers: Endgame is the finale to the culmination of 22 movies over the span of 11 years and is easily the best movie to come from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Endgame is part two of Avengers: Infinity War and takes place just after the events of the first movie with the Avengers depressed and beaten.

Endgame was hyped to the fullest and paid off well. In fact, it paid off so well that its opening weekend brought $1.2 billion worldwide shattering records set by Avengers: Infinity War in 2018. Currently on Rotten Tomatoes, Avengers: Endgame is sitting at a 95% certified fresh rating.

The newest movie also brought with it many scenes that left the theater audiences crying, shouting for joy, or laughing.

I haven’t seen this much energy at movie before and it was truly spectacular. It also helps that the actors performances from Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth were top notch. It was also very exciting to see fan favorite characters pop back up on the big screen even though it was only a few scenes.

As great as Endgame is, it does make numerous callbacks to previous movies. If you are only a casual to this movie I would strongly recommend watching previous movies such as Avengers: Age of Ultron,  Thor: The Dark World, and Avengers: Infinity War before you watch Endgame because it will likely not make much sense. Although, Avengers: Endgame is not going to be the final movie from the MCU, it really is a satisfying conclusion to the 22 movies in the 11 year saga.
