Amaiya Kauphusman, Reporter

Amaiya Kauphusman is a senior at Cotter. She has lived in Winona her whole life, and this is her fifth year attending Cotter. She has two brothers, Brody and Owen. Amaiya chose to take journalism because she enjoys writing, and hopes to improve her writing skills. She participates on the varsity soccer team, she is involved in the National Honors Society, and works at Lakeview Drive-in during the summer. She enjoys hanging out with her friends, going on the river in the summer, shopping, and traveling. Her favorite place she has been to is Aruba. After high school, she plans to attend college to study dental hygiene. Amaiya describes herself as being organized, independent, and positive.
